Terms and Conditions

We don't like small print. We stand for good service and an excellent product. However, practice has proven that some rules / conditions / agreements are needed. We are not secretive about that, the texts are public and clearly legible!

General conditions RENTAL van Distortingmirrors.co.uk, part of InterAction Organisatiebureau, located in Opmeer.

  1. No stickers should be stuck on the mirrors, except STATIC STICKERS. If stickers are found on the mirrors, we are entitled to charge a maximum of € 70.- per mirror if the stickers (and in particular due to removal) have caused damage.
  2. After concluding the agreement, we prepare a contract / confirmation. Check this contract / confirmation within 5 days and return signed. A reply with "agree" via mail is also good for us.
  3. Failure to return the contract / confirmation does not relieve you of the obligation to purchase contracted rental mirrors, as we will only email a contract / confirmation after a clear verbal agreement.
  4. Signing must be done by an authorized person. Should the Chamber of Commerce prove afterwards that no further details regarding the authority of the signatory are known, he / she declares that he / she has obtained the authority from his or her position per signature, or that he / she acts on behalf of a person authorized to do so.
  5. Contractor 1 cannot be held liable for the risks of the driver to and from the location of the rented mirrors. (traffic jam or accident etc. which makes him late or not)
  6. Without prejudice to the right to compensation in accordance with the law, in the event of cancellation by contractor 1, the following is due as cancellation costs for rent: € 50 administration and reservation costs.
  7. When selling your business, you must "resell" the agreements concluded with us to the new owner, or cancel the agreements in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions. You must inform us of the sale at all times.
  8. Moving the rental date after it has become definitive is only possible with written confirmation from InterAction, we will charge € 15.- relocation costs for relocation. Movements are in principle seen as cancellation and then taken as a new booking.
  9. If the rental location is located on one of the islands or otherwise only accessible by (ferry) boat, then ferry costs as well as possibly. accommodation costs borne by contractor 1.
  10. The payment method at the Distortingmirrors.co.uk (part of InterAction Organisatiebureau) is in advance per bank. The agreed fee / amount must be credited to InterAction's bank account at least 4 business days prior to execution. Exceptions to this are:
    1. If the time between ordering and execution is so short that payment by bank is no longer feasible; pay via the "Mollie" link sent by us. After payment, we will immediately receive an e-mail that you have paid.
    2. Relations that are allowed to pay per bank afterwards (InterAction pays close attention to the payment term, we use a payment term “within 14 days after the invoice date.” If you do not pay within this set period, we will only deliver to you after prepayment by bank.)
  11. If contractor 1 has a payment arrears with InterAction Organisatiebureau, then InterAction reserves the right to cancel the maintenance of the agreed rental price.
  12. Upon collection, the customer must have sound transport. If the transport is too small or of poor quality, we are entitled to reject the transport. InterAction Organisatiebureau retains h.o. Distortingmirrors.co.uk the right to full payment of the rented.
  13. We deliver rental goods "inside" over the threshold on the ground floor. Discharge site must be easily accessible with a small delivery van within 10 meters of the discharge place. (If we have to cover a greater distance, you must report this and provide assistance.)
  14. If the above condition cannot be met, then our driver is entitled to return home, whereby Distortingmirrors.co.uk retains the right to full payment of the rented property.
  15. Cared for assignments: If we have to transport our smile mirrors to a floor or basement and there is no elevator, the contractor must provide 1 minimum of 1 person to help. Both during construction and when dismantling. In this not the case with build-up, Contractor 2 is entitled to invoice € 45.- per (part of an) hour that the driver is working on it.
  16. Goods that are rented from us are from the moment of collection at our company or the moment of delivery by our driver under the responsibility of Contractor 1. All damages must be compensated by Contractor 1 itself or be covered by insurance.
  17. If on arrival no one from Contractor 1 is present who can show us the location and we are therefore finished building up too late, the Distortingmirrors.co.uk is not liable for this.
  18. ID is required for collection. (photo ID; passport, driver's license or identity card will be made.)

  1. After you have reached agreement with us about the laughing mirrors to be purchased, we will send you the invoice, after which we will assemble and send your mirrors after receiving the payment.
  2. For more complex agreements or large numbers on demand, we draw up a contract / confirmation. Check this contract / confirmation within 5 days and return signed.

  5. We ship in neat boxes. If the shipment arrives damaged, take photos immediately, preferably where the delivery person is still present.
  6. Damaged shipments must be reported to us immediately.
  7. After shipment on the correct date, InterAction is not liable if your shipment arrives later than the agreed date. The well-known transport companies provide target dates, but no guarantee.
